In House Dr. Visit

I was fighting illness for about two weeks before I decided to call a doctor. I'm not begging for sympathy, but I wanted to share this interesting experience:

Doctor's can make house calls here. Plus, when you hear someone's called an ambulance, it doesn't mean it's as serious as it is in the US, where we're from. Matter of fact, sometimes the doctors make their house calls in the ambulance!

So, being concerned that I had something I didn't want to pass to Leesh and the baby, we invited the doctor to the house. I had to miss an hour of school for my visit. I rang him up and the consultation took place in our living room. He used the light of the sun coming through the window to look down my throat. He checked my lungs through the stethoscope, and wrote me a script in the back of my Psalms notebook.

Antibiotics are OTC here, so I'm on a regimen of Аугментин (Amoxicillin). He also gave me handy tips for clearing out sinus cavities with a salt/soda/iodine solution. I know that's more than what you wanted to know, but I wanted to tell you about my in-home doctor visit.
